Hey folks.

Recently some of you may have noticed that we aren’t doing so well. Our funds are low, and player activity hasn’t been too hot. We hit a huge blow to our player count when we had to make an emergency transfer to majoritypvp.net. I knew it was going to be bad, but I didn’t know it was going to be this bad. You can blame management on this one.

I want to discuss the future of MajorityPVP.

First off, I want to talk about C2. C2 (stands for Chapter 2) was going to be our transformation into a hub server. It was a futile plan by penty_ to obtain more players to the server and make MajorityPVP seem more fun. I felt that it was cheesy, artificial, and dumb. And with the position we are at right now, it definitely isn’t a good idea.

C2 has been scrapped.

Staff morale is extremely low.

Penty_ has promised me that after the aforementioned C2 event that he would quit Minecraft. Paul397 is busy, and has become bored with MajorityPVP. He recently transferred Enjin site owner to me. I don’t want to get my personal feelings into this, but I’ve also become sick and tired of Minecraft. Unofficially, however, the keys of MajorityPVP have been handed to me. As for the rest of our staff, they have a lesson to teach us owners. They have kept their heads up the entire time and I applaud them for that.

When I was promoted to owner, I had a lot of things planned for the community.

But now I’m not so sure. So now I have new plans and options. Things need to change, otherwise we are going to crash and burn. These are our options. I’m asking you as a community member.

• Let MajorityPVP go. As a pessimist, I feel like this is the best option.

• Focus on Source servers. Open Team Fortress 2, Garry's Mod (DarkRP and Trouble in Terrorist Town), and Counter Strike: Global Offensive servers. I’m not sure if we can make a whole lot of revenue from this, but this does sound reasonable.

• Continue what we’re doing and hope for a miracle, or crash and burn like Rod Kimble. This is the riskier option. No one wants to be Rod Kimble.

Our next server invoice is coming up (around January 20th), and our bill this month is $135 dollars.

For now, the best thing you guys can do is donate to the server to help us. We are a not-for-profit server, and we have to rely on your donations to keep our server running. This may sound desperate, I know. But whether or not MajorityPVP exists isn’t my decision, it’s yours.

I call this the "oh god we’re in trouble” sale. Also, Big Spender is $420. I will install a marijuana plugin on the server, and anyone who buys Big Spender during the sale will get access to the plugin. Not sure what it will do yet, but whatever.

This is more an informative news post, and less of a plea.
